A new video reveals the powerful words of Holocaust survivor Jerry Wartski, who voiced his deep disappointment over Vice President Kamala Harris’ recent comments comparing former President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler.

As reported by American Military News, Wartski, now 94 and a former Auschwitz prisoner, serves as honorary president of the Israel Heritage Foundation. He expressed that Harris’ statement was “the worst thing” he had heard in his 75 years living in the United States.

Last week, during a CNN town hall, Harris discussed a controversial claim that Trump allegedly wanted his generals to act like “Hitler’s generals.”

She told Anderson Cooper, “If the President of the United States, the commander in chief, is saying to his generals, in essence, ‘Why can’t you be more like Hitler’s generals?’ Anderson, come on. This is a serious, serious issue.”

Harris implied that Trump held admiration for Hitler, referencing an assertion from former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly.

Trump’s campaign has rejected the claim as unfounded, a point noted by The Daily Wire.

Responding to Harris’ remarks, Wartski did not hold back.

“Adolf Hitler invaded Poland when I was nine years old. He murdered my parents and most of our family. I know more about Hitler than Kamala will ever know in a thousand lifetimes,” he said, emphasizing his personal understanding of the atrocities of Nazi Germany.

Wartski continued, “For her to accuse President Trump of being like Hitler is the worst thing I ever heard in my 75 years living in the United States. I know President Trump, and he would never say this, and Kamala Harris knows that.”

Wartski went a step further, demanding an apology from Harris for “repeating this lie” about Trump.

He asserted that the comparison dishonors the memory of Holocaust victims, including his own family. Wartski expressed that Trump is a “mensch”—a term meaning a person of honor and integrity—who has always shown support for Jewish people and the state of Israel.

Wartski shared his hope for Trump’s reelection, highlighting Trump’s favorable policies towards Israel, adding, “He never double-crossed anyone, and he never showed any weakness.”

In a moving statement, Wartski described his experience watching Trump pray for hostages, calling it a “meaningful” moment that affirmed his belief in Trump’s dedication to Jewish causes.
